Mary McCormack

Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead characters in the TV series 'Murder", 'The Western Wing', 'In Plain Sight' and 'Loaded'. Mary McCormack is known for her roles in the film 'Private Parties,' 'Deep Impact,"True Crime," along with 1408'. McCormack was born to an ice-cream parlor owner and an a psychologist in clinical practice. Their family has no connections to the entertainment industry. When her parents separated in 1990 she attended Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and graduated with a BA in Comparative Arts. When she was 12 the actress began her acting career in one of the Christmas production "Amahl And The Night Visitors". The actress continued to perform in theatre and ultimately bagged roles both on large and small screens. Presently, McCormack is recognized as one of the best actors in Hollywood.
